Edge Signage and Shopfitting Supplies (PTY) Ltd (ESASS) is a leading supplier of Acrylic sheets for a wide range of applications.

Edge Signage and Shopfitting Supplies (PTY) Ltd (EDGE-SS) is the sole importer and exclusive distributor of the Acrylux brand of acrylic into the Southern African market.

Acrylux is produced in the world’s largest single site facility with a capacity of 60 000 tons.

State of the art equipment is utilised in the manufacturing process, whilst adhering to the highest standards in the industry both in the manufacturing process as well as that of the environment. These include but are not limited to ISO9001, ISO14001 environmental management system, FDA food contact level certification, SGS system certification, Sony GP system certification, and products and materials comply with EU RoHS Directive. All Acrylux ranges offer extensive warranties, about which further information can be found below under each material type.

Acrylux sheets are available in a number of colours and thicknesses, and can be purchased in:

Wastewater used in producing Acrylux sheets uses predominantly domestic and recycled wastewater.

Fabrication

Laser cutting

Acrylux Sheets are extremely well suited for CO2 laser cutting machines. Laser cutting of acrylic panels is extremely useful in cutting complex patterns and designs, while achieving polished edges in the process.

Flame Polishing

Flame polishing is the fastest way to achieve a polished edge after CNC cutting or cutting Acrylux sheets by panel saw. Edges need to be adequately scraped with a sharp utensil to remove saw marks before polishing, to achieve optimum results.

CNC Cutting

As Acrylux is made with the highest quality MMA raw material, CNC cutting with quality tools gives a smooth and accurate finish, especially when thicker gauges for intricate patterns are required.

Thermoforming

As one of the highest quality cast acrylic sheets available on the market, Acrylux sheets are produced with thermoformability in mind thereby giving our customers an unrivalled experience when working with our sheet products to achieve various shapes and sizes.

Bonding

When cut with sharpened blades or router bits, Acrylux sheets are ideal for various types of bonding styles. Whether for point-of-sale displays, signage, furniture or tanks, Acrylux is the ideal material to be used with various adhesives, specifically made for cast acrylic sheeting.
